# Customer Impersonation

**The Customer Impersonation feature lets you view the customer portal exactly as your customer sees it. It’s a helpful way to check their experience and guide them through questions or issues more easily.**

***

**Steps:**

1. Log in to your **Partner Dashboard**.
2. Go to **Account Receivable >** **Customers** > **All Customers**.
3. Search for and select the customer you want to view.
4. Next to the customer name, click **Impersonate Customer**.

The impersonation session opens in a new browser tab showing a read-only view of the customer’s portal.

{% hint style="info" %}
\*\*Tip:\*\* This gives you view-only access to the account. It’s a great way to see what the customer sees, troubleshoot issues, and provide clear guidance.
{% endhint %}

### Ending an impersonation session

To exit impersonation, simply close the tab. You will remain logged in to your Partner Dashboard in the original tab.
