# Managing Email Notifications

**Here's how you can easily turn off email notifications from your Partner Dashboard in 3 easy steps.**

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note:** This setting controls email notifications for **your own user account only**. It does not affect notifications received by other team members or your end-customers.
{% endhint %}

1. Log in to your [Alternative Payments Dashboard](https://app.alternativepayments.io/).
2. Click on the 3 dots next to your name at the bottom of the screen.
3. Click on [Profile settings](https://app.alternativepayments.io/dashboard/preferences)

4\. **Click on** [**Email Notifications**](https://app.alternativepayments.io/dashboard/preferences?pageTab=emailNotifications) **and toggle it to the left to turn it off.**

This will disable the following:

* Payment emails
* Payout emails
* Pay in Installments emails

You're now all set and will not receive email notifications in the future. If you wish to enable email notification again, toggle back on.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.alternativepayments.io/preferences/customization/managing-email-notifications.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
