Create an automated email notification to alert customers that they have a new invoice from your partner dashboard.
Ensure your customers get notified of a new invoice by creating an automated email notification based on the date the invoice is created in a few simple steps.
1 | Navigate to Invoice reminders
From the Automations > Email Notifications section of your dashboard, go into the “Invoice reminders” section and select “+ New reminder.”
2 | Configure the notification
From the dropdown menu, select the “On creation” option. Select “Add new reminder” to configure the notification.
You also have the flexibility to alert customers of a new invoice based on a certain number of days after the creation date.
3 | You’re all set 🎉!
Your customers will now receive an invoice notification when they have a new invoice. The subject line will say: You have a new invoice from [Your Company Name!]. Send yourself a preview by clicking on the eye icon after you’ve created the notification.
NOTE: The configuration for this email notification runs on an hourly basis, at the top of the hour. If an invoice syncs in at 2:55pm then it would be sent to the customer at 3:00pm.
