Automatic email reminders will ensure customers pay invoices on time while also saving you the time from sending manual email notifications.
Easily automate your emails and improve your collections through invoice summaries and invoice reminders.
Set up automatic email notifications in 4 easy steps:
1. Go into Automations
2. Select Email Notifications
3. Add Your Notifications (Invoice summaries & Invoice reminders)
4. Add Customer Exclusions
Email your customers comprehensive invoice summaries to highlight all outstanding invoices. This serves as a gentle reminder, ensuring timely payments for the services you've delivered.
1 | Go into Automations
In the Partner Dashboard, select Automations from the side menu.
2 | Select Email Notifications
Select Email Notifications from the drop-down and then select 'Add a reminder' to start configuring your automatic email reminders.
3 | Add Your Reminders
Select the Type drop-down and set your reminder based On due date, Before due date and After due date. Select 'Add new reminder' to save. You can set as many reminders as you see fit and they will apply to your entire customer base that have email notifications enabled.
As best practice, we recommend you set reminders for:
On due date
3 days before due date
7 days after due date
To preview the reminder, select the eye icon to send yourself a preview. If you need to delete a reminder, select the trash icon.
4 | Add Customer Exclusions
If you wish to exclude any customers from receiving automatic email reminders, you can exclude these customers from reminders under the EXCEPTION LIST section.
Select 'Choose Customers', filter for the specific customers or select all customers that apply by selecting the checkbox next to the company names. Additionally, you can choose to 'Select All' or 'Clear Selection' to make it easy to manage your exclusion preferences. Once ready, make sure to confirm your selections by confirming the 'Select x customers' button.
