Routine Reports
Save any question as a report. Schedule it to land in your inbox, or run it on demand whenever you need a fresh copy.
Every Routine Report runs one of two ways:
Scheduled. Runs daily, weekly, or monthly, and emails you the result.
On demand. Saved and ready to run whenever you want it.
Routine Reports only report. To repeat a job that takes actions, such as charging invoices or sending reminders, use a Routine Workflow.

Reports worth running
Week in review

Runs default to 8:00 AM in your account's timezone, and Alti confirms the local time before saving. Daylight saving is handled for you. Routines start on an hourly check, so an 8:00 AM report runs at the first check at or after 8:00.
What you get
Every run, scheduled or on demand, is a finished report:
Headline numbers with the change since the last period
What changed, in plain sentences, so you know where to look first
Charts that show the trend
Tables you can download

Get your results
On by default for a scheduled report, sent to whoever created it. Add up to 5 teammates, or turn email off. The email is the report itself, not a link.
Every run is saved on your Reports page. See Open a report in the app.
Ask Alti to show you a report's latest run, and it opens right in the conversation.
Ask for a CSV or XLSX for anything you'll open in Excel, or a PDF for a polished report to forward. Say so when you set it up, for example "and save the full list as a CSV." Files are on the report page and attached to the email.

Reports go to your team only. Every recipient must be a user on your Alternative Payments account. To share with an outside accountant or bookkeeper, add them to your team first. See User Roles.
Limits
5 scheduled reports running at once across your account. On-demand and disabled reports don't count.
20 routines per person, Routine Reports and Routine Workflows combined.
Up to 5 email recipients per report.
Up to 1,000 rows in a single file export.
When you hit the 5-slot limit, Alti shows you which scheduled reports are running and offers to disable one. Disabling frees the slot and can be undone. Deleting cannot, so disable unless you mean to remove it.

Everyone on your team can see every routine, labelled with who made it. A report always runs as the person who created it, so its data and default recipient stay theirs even if someone else edits it.
Good to know
Every change is confirmed. Creating, editing, and deleting a report all stop on a confirmation card first.
Keep a one-off answer. To save a single result without re-running it, open Download under the preview and click Save as report.
Results are kept for 30 days. Ask Alti to keep a run and it holds onto that result for good.
A failed run says so. If a run fails, Alti tells you, instead of showing a stale or empty result.
