Asking About Your Data

Get instant answers about your customers, invoices, payments and payouts, just by asking Alti in plain English.

One of the most useful things Alti can do is answer questions about your own account. There is no need to build a report or export a spreadsheet. Ask Alti the way you would ask a teammate, and it pulls the answer from your live account in seconds.

What you can ask about

Alti can answer questions about your:

  • Customers, including their tags and whether they have a payment method on file

  • Invoices, including overdue, upcoming, paid, and outstanding balances

  • Payments and payouts, including how a customer paid and your payout amounts and status

  • Payment trends, such as whether a customer pays on time and whether that is improving or slipping

  • Reminders, Auto-Pay rules, tags, and email history

Example questions

Try asking:

  • "Who owes me the most right now?"

  • "Which invoices are more than 30 days overdue?"

  • "Which customers don't have a payment method on file?"

  • "Has Acme Corp been paying on time lately?"

  • "List everyone tagged VIP."

  • "Who paid with a credit card versus a debit card last month?"

Note: Alti answers using your own account's data only. It never has access to any other partner's information.

Quick actions

Not sure where to start? Alti offers one-click quick actions at the top of the chat for common questions, such as your top debtors, overdue invoices, and customers missing a payment method. Click one and Alti runs it for you, no typing needed.

Daily, weekly and monthly summaries

Alti can also give you a rolled-up summary of your account. Just ask:

  • "Give me my summary for today."

  • "What happened this week?"

  • "Give me a monthly report for last month."

Note: For very large questions, Alti shows you the first batch of results and tells you how many more there are, so you always know whether you are seeing everything. Ask it to keep going to see the rest.
